Collection Instr. …………: – The patient should remain 24 hours before and during the collection without ingesting foods such as coffee, tea, cola soft drinks and smoking, as these interfere with the result:

– The client should maintain his daily routine avoiding making physical effort during the collection.

– It is not necessary to increase the intake of liquids, except under medical supervision.

– Inform the start and end time of the collection, weight, medication being taken, dosage, day and time of the last dose.

– If the client takes any of the medications below continuously, he/she must contact the attending physician to evaluate suspending them. The suspension, as well as its period is solely at the discretion of the physician.
