Technical information: This test can also be done with deceased people or with the baby in the mother’s womb – the analysis of the baby is done through the blood of the mother and the supposed father. In the case of the deceased, the analysis is done using the blood of the living person and a hair sample or scraping of some material from the body.
For traditional analyses, there are TRIO and DUO paternity tests, the former being performed on samples from the biological mother, the child, and the possible father, and the latter on samples from the child and the alleged father. The tests guarantee that patients are released with a minimum probability of 99.99% and high accuracy of the result from the analysis of more than 60 markers.
It can be done on different samples, such as blood and saliva, offering more convenience for the patient at the time of collection.
